Pours a clear dark copper colour with a thin off white head that lasts. Aroma is caramel, grainy, cereal, and a bit earthy. Flavour is some toasty malts, caramel, light bitterness, cereal, a little earthy with a dry finish.

Tap @ the brewery. I liked this better than their Velvet Fog wheat ale. The caramel malt adds interest without dominating.

Pours a deep amber-brown color with small chunks of yeast in the brew and a dense, creamy, low white head. Aroma has a lot of caramel malt with some light toasted presence later in the nose. Just a touch of banana comes through as it warms. Flavor starts off with a balanced blend of caramel and toasted barley with a bit of a citrus orange creeping in late. Brew has a light, fizzy palate. Overall not a terrible brew but just a bit on the bland side. I don’t get much wheat from this beer. More reminiscent of a weird amber than a wheat beer.

Pours a clear reddish amber with an off white hat. Aroma of caramel, roasted malts and wheat. Taste is roasted malts, bread and some wheat with a very very mild bitterness.

341ml bottle pours an amber orangey color with a small white head that leaves very little if any lacing on the glass. Aroma is cereal grains and mild caramel with some light hops. Taste is a grainy malt sweetness with a light hop bitterness in the finish. Light bodied with a little carbonation. An interesting wheat ale due due its darker color than the standard, but an uninspired brew.

Very approachable not very hoppy, medium body, very clean finish to a dark beer. The wildrose version of Erdinger Dunkel. Good.

Bottle thanks to Father-in-law: Poured a carbonated copper but very clear, head was foamy off white. Aroma is sweet with fruit and bubble gum. Taste is sour grain with some malt, very wet and unbalanced.

Putrid out of the bottle and this brew probably ain’t that old. Orangy amber with a small white cap. Smells pretty crappy... more salt and vinegar chips, oddly toasted malts. The taste is better, much better but it’s still marginally awful. Malty and hints of hops with a taste that borders on sour. Tart and the fruit is gaining ground....Know what? Pouring this and moving on after 4 sips.

Uninspired. I really wasn’t a huge fan of this one. Poured a red tinted brown with a small head that vanished quickly. The aroma was weak with a bit of malt. The taste is malty with a touch of caramel. I am picking up a slight bit of hops in the aftertaste. Very underwhelming characteristics individually and more so as a package. I wouldn’t bother with this again.

BORING SO VERY BORING!!!!! Reddish brown very small cap and reduced to nothing very quickly. Toasted malt a strange hop, all very weak. What the hell I can smell stinky shoe. Taste is better it be full and thick. Roasted malt, melba toast, toffee, mild nonflavoured hop bitterness, hints of coffee after taste is very sweet. Taste is getting empty the more I drink and I’m struggling to taste what I did in the beginning. The carbonation s stinging my lips. I guess this isn’t bad it just a horribly boring style. DOWN WITH AMERICAN WHEAT BEERS!!!
