I really liked the aroma of this beer. It passes the eye test as well. It was the overall refreshing flavor that got me to give this beer such a high rating. Excellent stuff.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
20oz pour at Capitol Alehouse Innbrook. Pours a transparent, copper amber with some lacing, creamy white head. Nose is fruity, citrus, grapefruit, lemon, lime, floral, a little biscuit. Flavor was spot on, light caramel, some chewy grain and then plenty of hops, blood orange, grass, dried lemon peel, flower petals. Medium bodied, lightly zesty, refreshing finish. Very nice session ale.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice crisp amber coloured body with a thin tan head. Aroma of bright grapefruit, piney and resinous hops - a lot of them and a touch of malt. Medium-bodied; Strong herbaceous hop flavour at first with some perceived metallic and earthy notes along with a lot of caramel and sweet notes at the end. Aftertaste shows a lot of hop bitterness with grapefruit and piney notes clearly winning out. Overall, a very potent hop presence with a good malt backbone and some nice complex flavours - much more hops than I was expecting and definitely one of the best ’ambers’ I’ve had in a while. I feel like this is an APA, but if it stays in this category - find one, because it is a great beer for the style. I sampled this twelve ounce can after a hockey game in Arlington, Virginia on 19-March-2014 - Thanks JP!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft Cap Ale Innsbrook. Medium orange amber, decent head. Hoppy aroma, citric in character, pine and grapefruit. Caramel accented malt backbone, hop emphasis on the finish, matches the nose. Definitely in the APA family way more than in the ambers. Quite nice.

Nice stuff, that I thought worked rather well. Drinks nicely. This was a nice first beer to try from Wild Wolf, and quite sessionable.
