3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled during CBC 2013. Almost black pour with a small tan head. Surprisingly light aroma, some dusty chocolate, earthiness, a bit of acidity and dark fruits. The flavor follows suit. Not bad.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: nearly black, with a giant foamy dark brown head. Aroma: strong pine and resin, medium coffee and general roast. Taste: as the aroma indicated. 2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is mostly coffee and spice with a back note of wet dog. Taste is overwhelmed by a roasted bitterness bordering on acrid astrigency. Lacking balance and maybe some sweetness.
