COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A dark, rich stout; black in color with a tan head. Our American Stout has a rich mouthfeel, a rich dark chocolate taste and a slightly roasty middle. This beer finishes with a little hop bitterness to round it all out.

Aromas of chocolate, berries, and earthy hops. Almost black, with ruby highlights, and a beige head of good retention. Somewhat sweet with chocolate and coffee flavors, and supportive bitterness. Full bodied, creamy, with low carbonation, and an earthy, chocolatey finish, with lingering bitterness.

It pours a dark brown body under a small, dense, beige head. The aroma is chocolatey, roasted and with some coffee and charcoal. It’s quite dry on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Full body. Chocolate, coffee and roasted malts in the flavor, with a good bitterness. Pine cone notes. Lasting finish with chocolate and bitterness. A bit one dimensional this one, but nice too. 150227

Appearance: nearly black, with a giant foamy dark brown head. Aroma: strong pine and resin, medium coffee and general roast. Taste: as the aroma indicated. Finish: dry and bitter, with piney hops and bittersweet dark chocolate the prominent lingering flavors. Notes: Palate was pretty creamy. Roasty and bold flavors. Perfectly acceptable stout.
