Bottle from the brewpub. Pours a clear reddish amber color with a thin tan head that quickly fades. Aroma of raspberries and bready malts. The taste is rapsberries, bready malts, mild spice. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Seductive pour ... golden, bright amber. There’s little to no head, however. There’s a vague hint of raspberry syrup in the nose. And initially this presents a positive first impression with a subtle hint of wild berries in a light golden ale. But then the substance quickly fades, and this seems a bit of a shallow brew, and after the first quaff drinks like a ’starter’ Belgian. (#5524, 5/24/2014)

tepid hazy gold, spotty island white head. Heavy sugar and vegetal nose, light berry. Sticky papery profile, tons of red berry front with heavy sugar, rinds and strawberry continuing through a papery oxidized finish.

Nice floral Belgian with good raspberry integration. Pours with a pink tint on the head, golden in colour otherwise. Light perfumy leave. A little watery on the palate. Bottle thanks to ajax25g at Epic Sour Tasting.

4/11/2014. 22 oz. bottle. Clear amber with almost no head. Aromas of light malt, yeast and light fruit. The raspberries really show in the flavor, but without being overwhelming. A bit tart, but refreshing with caramel on the finish. Good Summer brew.

Bottle shared by djmiller92. Thanks Dave! The beer is copper to amber hued with an inch or so of off white head. The aroma consists primarily of Belgian yeast and raspberries. Lightly sweet with ample raspberry character. Some floral hops with a dry finish. Medium bodied with moderate bready character. Pretty good.

22 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Chesapeake, VA. Appears almost orange in the glass but as I was pouring I could see pink highlights. Lightly tart fruity notes are detected in the aroma mixed with some Belgian candi sugar and floral hops. The taste is distinctly raspberry but only offers us a hint. The rest of flavors are also offered up in small doses (Belgian candi sugar, caramel, floral hops). Easily approachable, very refreshing, and nothing mind-blowing; just an all-around pretty good beer.

Bottle at Michael’s Bistro. Pours clear and still amber with a very small, fizzy white head, no retention or lacing. Aroma is raspberry, toast and cookie malt with light grassy hops. Flavor is sweet malt backbone, raspberry, faint hops and bitterness with a sweet finish. Medium body and light carbonation.
