2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Serving: draft at Fire Works Leesburg. Cloudy yellow pour. Odd honey and grain nose. The flavor has a weird tartness with lemon, light honey, grain, and yeast. An odd aftertaste lingers on the tongue. This one seems to be a bit of a mess.

Poured from a can. Sudsy head that dissipated quickly, but left a surprisingly good lacing behind. Straw yellow appearance. Not a big honey fan, but the ABV makes it palatable.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can... Pours lightly hazy and yellow with a quickly dissipating white head. The aroma is a marriage of honey and peppery, spicy hops. Medium to full-bodied with adequate carbonation. The flavor is remarkably well-balanced. Honey malts and spicy, white-peppery hops play nicely together. The hops fade quickly, leading to a sweet and spicy finish. Bottle courtesy of ygtbsm94!

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can. Bright yellow-orange, with some thin cloudiness that almost makes it opaque. This gives off a very honey-laden aroma, quite sweet. It drinks with a similar buzz, super tart and almost lemony. There’s a bit too much of that aspect to make me like it very much. But it’s clean, well made, and a sure hit with the ladies. (#5647, 8/27/2014)

Total Wine, Fairfax sixer of cans: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is honey, light fruitiness, and some Belgian yeast. Taste is a little too sweet for me. Tasted a little bit too heavy and wasn’t exactly refreshing in the hot summer heat I was drinking it in. That said, the flavors were honey with a wee bit of the hops. Not bad, but didn’t come together.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a murky golden into the glass, with a thin ring of suds that travels down the pour. The nose has some dank wheat and hay notes. Wheat and honey dominate here, but a little ABV shows through light muddy citrus undertones, some marshmallow and an overly sweet honey finish. The palate is medium-bodied and semi-active with carbonation. The mouthfeel is a tad cloyingly sweet for the style. Not that it isn’t a decent pour on a 4th of July evening, but to keep things in check, it’s almost par for the course.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a bit of an orange glow and a very thin off-white head. Aroma of hay, grass, yeast, wheat and a bit of light funk - nice. Medium-bodied; Assertive honey flavour with a lot of yeast, grass, hay, oak and even the slightest note of wild yeast and brett. Aftertaste shows a pungent sweet kick from the honey and apricots with a good balance of malt and a little dry herbal and yeast kick at the very end. Overall, a surprisingly good beer with a great profile and a nice sweetness at the end, well balanced and nice to sample. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Washington, DC (Foggy Bottom) on 28-February-2014 for US$7.99 sampled at home in Washington on 10-June-2014.

Very refreshing honey blonde from Wild Wolf. Pours a hazy light gold, with a nice head. Nose is citrus. Taste is wheat, honey and orange peel. It finishes nicely and doesn’t linger in the mouth. Cheers!
