COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on a wheat based IPA. We started with a Wit style beer and then added just over 30 lbs of hops. Unfiltered, the beer is off white in color with a white head. Strong citrus notes on the nose leading into a slightly sweet taste, then finishing with the hop bitterness characteristic of an American IPA.

Thistle, coriander, bubble gum, mint, lemon zest bouquet. Eclectic! Hazy golden, thick lacy head. Minty, lemongrass flavor, good intensity. Not cloying at all. Light body, soft carbonation, full flavor. Whatever this minty hop is, I donít usually like it. In this beer it works. This is a very nicely crafted beer, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Nailed it!

Bottle. Apt description from the brewer. Looks, tastes and smells like an American wheat, save for an assertive citric hop presence. Pleasantly blended merger of styles, ultimately very light, fruity and drinkable. Should be a crowd pleaser. (#5455, 3/9/2014)

A hazy yellow with a pile of foamy head that fades quickly and leaves no lace to speak of. The aroma is like a spicy hefeweizen with some lemon zest and floral hops. And the flavor is just fine. Slightly sweet and wheaty with a bitter, grapefruit and grassy hops finish. This is nice. Iíll buy it again.

Bottle. Cloudy gold with a tall, fluffy white head. Abundant yeast and spice in the nose with wheat, citrus zest and floral hops. Taste is strong yeast, spices, zesty citrus, toasted wheat, sweet malt notes and floral hops. Body is light-medium with a soft, dense, creamy carbonation. Moderate lingering hops throughout, as well. Ends with more bold yeast notes, strong lemony zest citrus, spices, wheat, soft grains and floral hops.

Hazy yellow pour with a small head. The nose is sort of soapy, lemon cake, some herbal hops. Taste is lemon, herbal funk. Moderately bitter finish. Bit of dish soap brings it down.

Soft citrusy and floral hop aromas. Hazy yellow-orange with a lasting white head. Dry, snappy, and floral, very balanced. Light bodied and very refreshing.

Had this on draft as part of the sampler at the Wild Wolf brewpub. Poured a slightly hazy light orange color with a small white head. Aroma was grapefruit, some sweet malt notes. Flavor was light citrus notes, with some malty character. Some notes of wheat, pretty refreshing.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy vibrant lemon yellow color with a thin frothy off-white head. Average head retention. Aroma of acrid wheat, faint sweetness, clay and a bitter hop finish. The taste is dry wheat with bitter earthy and herbal hops. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness and off balance towards the hops.
