COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
WolfINstein in an amped up version of our American stout. More malt, more hops and a whole lot more alcohol. Deep black in color with a tan head. This beer is velvety smooth on the mouth. Starting with just a touch of alcohol heat, intense coffee and chocolate flavors and ending with just the perfect amount of hop bitterness to balance the entire experience. What a perfect dessert beer!

Aromas of cocoa, coffee, subtle booze, and subtle cherries. Black with a somewhat diminishing, tan head. Sightly sweet, some strength, balanced well with finishing hop bitterness. Full bodied with low carbonation, and a roasty, warming, bitter finish.

Sampled at the RBSG 2014. It poured a black color with a brown head. The aroma was of cocoa, funk and light roast. The taste was of sweet cocoa, dark chocolate, roast and more funk. Awesome.

Bomber that's been aging for a few months. Pours black with the deepest of mahogany fringes. The eggshell head reduces to ring lacing around the glass. The nose is of dark esters, bittersweet chocolate and lightly roasted grain. Everything about the flavor is dark. Dark fruity esters, sweetness from dark chocolates, roasted grain and finishing with a nicely balanced hop back, so as not to be cloying. Velvety on the palate and full-bodied, this Russian Imperial Stout is a nice take on the style. It makes for a great aperitif, before or after dinner.

22oz bottle tasted during RBSG. End part of the bottle. Dark brown color. Chunks of yeast. Minimal off-white head. Dark fruit, some chocolate. Burnt malts, heavy roast. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Dry finish. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, light bite. OK beer, but not great for the style.

Etched glass bottle. RBSG. St. Louis. Pours murky brown. off white head. Nose/taste of coffee, roast chocolate, black licorice and burnt chocolate. Medium body. One of the better names for a beer I’ve come across.

Sampled on the hus during RBSG. Black with a tan head. Bold and brassy. I taste coffee, harshness, big hops, roasted notes. cocoa nibs. An attitude here. Something "airish" that might be alcohol. Peanuts. This is a great beer to sample. Hops are big here and define it for me.

Bottle, thanks for sharing! Pours a hazy dark brown with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has musty roasted malts and bitter dark grains. Flavor has bitter dark grains up front with some roaseted malts and dark chocolate.

Espresso nose, some chocolate notes. Deep cola color, thin sticky tan head. Soy sauce, boysenberry. A bit cloying. Kind of a mess.
