On tap at the tap room with the Dude. Pours an orangish amber with a thick white head. Floral aroma with jasmine and some pine hop notes. Flavor is hop forward, bitter, with a strong doughy and grainy malt presence. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Pretty nice.

On tap @ Wild Woods. Orange pour with a white head. Caramel, toffee, and dough. Really chewy malt. Grass and pine hops, some chalk, and orange peel. Flavor is sweet caramel, toast, and dough. A bit of herbs, chalk, and orange peel. Bitter pine finish.

On draught at Wild Woods Brewing, this pours a copper-amber into the glass, with a wispy head that reduces to thin lacing. The nose has floral notes, sourdough and jasmine. The jasmine and stone-ground bready malts meet a light citrus note and close the finish with a crisp bitter back. The mouthfeel is a little underwhelming: light in the mouth and although not devoid of substance, lacking some character and body that would make a next-tier APA.

On tap at the brewery. Very interesting pale, jasmin flowers really make for a nice finish.

On tap at Wild Woods poured a clear amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of bread, light earthiness and a hint of floral. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread and light earthiness with a smooth dry finish.

Slightly hazy copper with a thin white head. Nose was a bit light but I got some blonde graininess, a bit of jasmine and honey, and a touch of herbal hops. Flavor is a little too light and crisp, with a majority of the flavor being jasmine and pale maltiness. Neither sweet nor dry, nor too malty or too bitter. It’s so middle of the road that if it didn’t have that floral/herbal jasmine tone it would be a ’nothing’ beer.

Pour on tap at the brewery, clear yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of slight grass, pine, some honey, hints of floral notes, touch of biscuit and bread, some DMS comes through as it warms, slight spice and earthy notes as well. Taste is similar some slight grass, floral notes, going into biscuit and bread, slight spice, hints of DMS unfortunately, finishing bitter and dry.

Brouwerij (959) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 24, 2012
On tap at Wild Woods. Pours a hazy amber with a finger of eggshell head, a little lacing. Aroma of hay, wheat, mildly bitter. Flavor is wheat and mild malt up front. Fades into mildly pale tones, with hints of apple and pear. Mild bitterness that lingers. Moderate carbonation, light body, and a mild mouthfeel. Drinkable, but could be much bolder in flavor and texture. A passable pale ale.

Tap @ Wild Woods. Pours a yellow-orange appearance with a white head. Floral, light honey, kind of dull aroma. Jasmine/floral, herbal/earthy, dull pale malty flavor.
