We make great beers that donít fit the traditional model; this is Wildcardís version of an IPA. We use the finest Maris Otter malt that is traditionally used in British ESBs and then throw in an immense amount of the best American hops; Chinook, Falconerís Flight and Zeus. No holding back here, nearly two pounds of hops for every barrel of beer that we produce. Youíll get a caramelly malt character balanced by a wonderful grapefruit aroma and dry finish. Cheers.

Pours a finger of head on a dark straw colored body.
The aroma is a dank pine... interesting, but still nice.
The taste is a solid pine dank bitterness with a good malt background.
The texture is thicker with moderate carbonation.
A solid IPA.

tap in Redding, CA Pours cloudy orange with a small off-white head and good lacing. The aroma is led by grapefruit like hops. Thereís good citrusy bitterness and a medium body in this fairly typical west coast IPA. Itís very good.
