Very few breweries in Germany nowadays still brew a light colored bock beer. Will-Bräu is still continuing with this tradition. The beer has a golden color, is very malty & has a rich flavor with a hint of sweetness. A well rounded brew.

Crystal clear golden pilsner-like appearance with a thin light colored head. Malty aroma with a hint of coffee and chocolate. Malty barley wine-like flavor that is sweet but with a slight acidic twang. Quite heavy mouthfeel for such a light colored brew. Slightly cloying finish with a short hop flash (just flavor, no bitterness). A tasty beer that resembles a light barley wine more than a light doppelbock.
