Cask @ Caley, Edinburgh [140513]
Dark orange amber, clear, thin white head, little lacing
Aroma of soft zesty hops, slightly eggy, soft pale fruity malts, not a great aroma
Taste of soft grassy zest hops, pale fruity sweet malts, dab of sweet cereals, light fruity caramel, touch of spicy hop, but overall its a tad dull
Palate - Light to medium body, oily texture, soft bitter quite sweet palate. Finish as main flavour, some light sweet citrus fruits in the finish
Overall - Average beer, a bit lackluster tbh

[cask at the Caley Sample Rooms, Edinburgh] Ruby brown beer with a decent white head. Sweet toffeeish aroma. Caramel toffee richness on the palate - not as sweet as I was expecting, there’s a good amount of citrus hop in there to balance it all out. Bitter, dry finish. Power to the People! [08042012]
