A bright, golden summer ale brewed with a blend of Belgian pale malt, Cascade and Bobek hops with a late infusion of fresh elderflowers and lemon zest. Fruity, aromatic and deliciously refreshing.

500ml bottle bought at Centra Colosseum in Oslo and shared with Finn back home. Clear, straw-golden body. Airy white head with some retention. Nice smell of floral hops. Herbal hops and earthy malts in flavour supported by honey sweetness. Subdued bittersweet ending. Fine drinkability, rather thin mouthfeel, though (Tromsø, 18.07.2012).

0.5l shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a dull pale golden blurry beer with a small bubbly off-white head. The aroma is light cereal-sweet with a hint of wet cardboard and perhaps even some yeast. Not utterly exciting. It has a average carbonation level and a thin and almost watery mouthfeel. In flavor it’s also kinda cereal-sweet - much the same as the aroma. Light floral also - it can actually remind a bit of flower water? Ends quite quickly and I’m totally convinced that I won’t remember this for to long. Perhaps the bottle is old or something? 16.06.2012

Flaske 0,5l påspandert av og delt med Rune under middag i WC74 18 Jul 12. Lysebrun/gul. Litt uklar. OK kremaktig skum. God fruktig aroma. Smaken er søt frukt. Aprikos & jordbær. Syrlig fruktig ettersmak. Lett-drikkelig.

AROMA: grass, hay, heather APPEARANCE: golden, clear, sparkling, minimal head, white foam, TASTE: light sweetness, lightly bitter, PALATE: medium body, sticky, lively, not too long finish OVERALL: starts as a refreshing pilsner, turns to a nice summer ale, but then the heather kicks---heather and beer do not mix

Bottle. Pours yellow, with an airy head. Not a lot going on in the aroma department her, but a light caramel malt can be recognized by good will. Flavour is sweet and obviously has a fair amount of elderberry, but there’s also fruity notes of apple and sweet citrus along with honey and very light notes of flowery hop. Strange beer really.

Bottle by NOV 2013. Nose is quite hoppy, dry and brittle Amarillo, for sure, light malt. Body a pale clear golden with a soapy white head. Bready-malty taste, relatively dry and breadening out toward the end, a watery-thin body that is hop-dominant but non-aggressive. Some herbal-grain notes with light bitterness in the aftertaste. Pleasant and lightweight.
