Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
A rich dark ale, dominated by the strong flavours of blended roast malts that are the foundation of this beer. Smooth coffee and chocolate undertones are complemented by the addition of late harvest cone hops, giving a lovely blackcurrant aroma.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a rim of an orange glare. Slowly collapsing light tan head. Chocolate and roasted malt aroma. Light body. Flavour is roasted and light acidic. Mild smoothness from the chocolate yet nothing that gives any body nor takes out the roasted notes into a decent balance. A bit thin and plain roasted, yet still a nice beer.

500ml bottle (K Market)<br /> Black, small beige head. Sweet oaty aroma, a bit flapjacky. Roasty cakey first taste, gets burnt on swallowing. Lovely tingly hops. Pleasant roasty biscuitty finish, but alas not long. Delicious when not cold.

0.5 l bottle. Almost black color with small creamy peige head. Dark bread, chocolate, coffee and leather in the aroma with some earthy and acrid notes. Soft dry roasty flavor with chocolate, charcoal, black currant, dark rye bread and salty licorice. Light soft body with soft carbonation. Fairly good and rich stout for 4.2 abv but I dont like the earthy-blackcurranty note.
