Light pale yellow lager colour, slightly grassy aroma and quite hoppy. Taste is very much like a grassy lager which has been hopped. The "hybrid" label is a tiny bit misleading as it’s essentially just a hoppy lager. That said, I think it is very tasty and I very much enjoyed it. Brilliant name, too!

9.4.2014. Stated as lager/IPA hybrid, can be thought so. Lager combined with citrus hoppy finish of IPA.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Drunk at home. Pale lager yellow. Nice white head. Floral, grapefruit aroma. Gentle bitter taste with increased tartness in the finish. Pleasing carbonation. This is really nice. More like an APA than a lager.

Tap at Bert’s Bar, Edinburgh.
Clear pale yellow beer with a small lacing white head. Aroma of herbs and fruits, light grass. Easy drinkable one with a fine hop flavor of fruits and herbs. Some character of lager yeasts.

Decent 'hybrid', nice taste but not much in the way of head. Not the greatest beer but definitely not one of the worst either.

Disappointing! I was really looking forward to trying this, but to all intents and purposes it just tastes like a decent lager with a slight bit of hoppy spice and bitterness at the end. Also contains slight metallic notes that you’d expect from a macro lager. Not awful, and would probably be decent on a hot day with a barbecue - but could have been so much better. A rare miss from Williams Bros.
