A lager the way it should be. Crisp and dry not fat and sweet as the normal mass produced lagers are.

Pale straw. Big white head. Lacing galore. Now the bad. Roasted corn in the nose and mouth. Some malt in the mouth but overrun by corn. Pass. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 18.05.2010
Aroma has English hops, some grainy malt and distant floral notes. Flavour is rather malty with grainy notes, English hops, hay, citrus and hints of biscuits. Not the most typical beer in this style but good anyway.

Bottle on the train from Edinburgh - 08/12/12 (IP trade with Craig Garvie). Clear pale golden with a good sized white head that retains well. Nose is pale malt, barley, light vegetal tones. Taste comprises pale malt, light grain, touch of citrus. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. Average.

Cask by handpump at The Hengler’s Circus, Glasgow - clear pale yellow, non-existent head, floral hop aroma, fruity, mild citrus aftertaste, bit flat but refreshing

Pours golden with a think white head which soon dissipates leaving nice traces around the edges, not much on the nose tiny bit of pils not much else, taste of fruits preserved in honey, surprisingly think full mouth full, nice but I won't go back for seconds via Beer Buddy

Draft at the Brussels Beer Cafe, Kuala Lumpur. Served cool, with a light amber pour, some froth with a little lacing... but what does it taste like? A weak aroma it must be said which leads to an incredibly malty flavour which sets this beer aside from other beers in this genre. It was probably served a little too cold to be honest because as the beer warmed a little, the flavours really came through. It reminded me a lot of the unfiltered Pilsner Urquell actually which isn't a bad recommendation. The Czech hops are very evident, but this beer is all about the malt. A very likable beer at the end of the day which really grew on me as it got slightly warmer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
