(bottle) Hazy, reddish brown colour with a medium-sized and tanned foamy head. Toast-malty, bready and delicately nutty malty aroma with caramel and fruity and slightly spicy hoppy notes. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, quite light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim but nevertheless complex toasty malt-character, backed by mildly citric and delicately resiny hops; sweet malt-accented and slightly bitter finish with an average length. Okay, just a tad too slim. 13.II.14

Bottle. Caramel, citrus, strawberries and a hint of toffee and tea in the aroma. Light sweet light bitter with a tea-and-fruit finish, slightly earthy. Very nice aroma but overall it misses something to make it stand out.

Thanks to Seanyfo! The beer is red-brown in the glass, beige head. It starts mild, smooth, slightly bitter. The mainpart is a bit watery, malt, caramel. Nice and not too sweet bitter. The aftertaste is long, bitter and Bitter-typical, malty and slightly caramel-sweet.
Nice Bitter, but a bit too watery and sweet - could be a bit deeper in aroma!

Bottle, BoE. Cherry red with a fine cream collar diminishing fast. Attractive floral, red berry, strawberry and cinder toffee aroma with a soggy digestive biscuit undercarriage. Similar flavour with a chestnut-like malt character underpinning slightly soapy floral and berry hop. Nothing world-beating but discreetly aromatic and flavoursome.

Hazy dark amber beer with a small off white head. Smooth palate with fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malt with light touches of caramel and cream. Whisper of paper. Very light hops, ripe orange and a forensic trace of pine. Decent malt base, needs some more hops.

500ml bottle at home. Pours clear dark amber with a thin long lasting head. Citrus and caramel aromas, good bitter taste, light sweetness. Creamy texture, crisp finish, if a little thin.

Bottle. A clear, golden to amber beer with a dense, finger-thick light beige colored body. The aroma is on the malty side, caramel and bread spring to mind, kept company by some fruityness. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, as well as the caramel and bread maltyness and fruity hints known from the aroma. Medium body, quite dry, with a pleasant, soft carbonation. Some bitterness in the end. Tasteful, easy drinkable and quite pleasant, but not the most interesting beer on the market. The ABV level of course has something to do with that. 121130

500ml bottle from Morrison’s. Deep amber with light head that faded quickly. Malty, toffee taste with a sticky yeast aftertaste. Not too bad. Perfect accompaniment to crisps or nuts.

500 ml bottle. Coppery colour, dense off-white head. Aroma of bready malt, caramel and fruits. The flavour is caramel malty, with fruity and metallic notes, and a moderately bitter finish. OK.
