UPDATED: MAY 4, 2014 Bottle at Tom’s. Hazy amber body with a medium off-white head. Lively carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of caramel, candy and red fruits. Flavour of sweet caramel, herbs, wood and earth. Thin body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation. Sits somewhere between a Bitter and an an Amber Ale. Just alright.

Head: off-white/light beige, medium, frothy, below avg. retention. Colour: dark copper, clear. Aroma: citrus, tropical fruit, light malt/bread, caramel. Taste: fruit caramel, spicy hops, low to average bitterness. Nice and hoppy, light but not watery. Must be a good session beer.

Overall a drinkable beer. Nothing special. The best part is the awesome ruby color. This beer is almost the same as the previous red ale I had by Willimas Bros. a bit bitter and hoppy, but chocolate dominates this ale. Anyway, it’s drinkable

10,11,10,10,12,10 - 10,25 - 9/5/13

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2014 500ml bottle. Reddish copper colour with minimal head which disappears quickly. Watery on the palate. Aroma is sweet maybe fruity. Taste medium sweet and medium bitter. Rerated head now retaining better and flavour seems to have improved back to what it used to be.
