Bottled. A hazy red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of fruits, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of bread, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry lightly bitter finish.

cloudy yellow, small white head. typical aroma of an english bitter. clean. flavor is herbal, flowery, slightly malty sweet, not as clean herbal bitter as your usual bitter - more flavorfull, more roast and fruits.

Pours more of a light brown (though I do love the brewers cherry, sunburst guitar description), this red ale is a seriously tasty drop. Strong aroma of caramel or toffee, leaving a medium sweet taste. Highly recommended Proving that, despite serious competition from other Scottish brewers Williams Bros are producing some of the best beers(Joker, Fraoch, Kelpie to name a few) in the country. Great to see more and more of these in several Glasgow pubs too, these guys are doing some serious brewing!

Bottle 50cl, a clear amber-red beer with good creamy head and good lacing. Nose is very hopy like with caramel and honey notes. Aroma hand an amazing grassy and floral bitterness with a honey body and caramel notes, very pleasant. Red fruit notes too with metallic hints, nice.

Bottle. Pours red/orange with a thin white head. Sweet malty aroma and flavour. Far too sweet, unbalanced beer.

500ml Bottle from Tesco (1.99)
Sweet smelling and malty with a muted, nutty aroma that lingers around the middle of the beer. There is also a light hops smell at the end.
Red to orange copper coloured with a thin off-white lacing.
Rich sweet malts kick this drink off along with a sugary sweetness that is a little to strong for my liking. There is a tarty finish that has a lot of malty bitterness as well.
Medium, smooth feel to it and a mild bitter finish. There is a lingering bitter aftertaste as well.

It started feel and faded a little to fast for me, there wasnt really a lot going on if Im honest and the taste wasnt a great one although it was just about drinkable.

Chiswick (159) - Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2011
dark amber colour, clear liquid, pours a thin slick, even head. the aromascape is of a darker standard malt and hop quality. a crispy malty aroma supports the bread and dough qualities, while the soft fruit provides sweetness. the taste is crispy with bitterness while the sweetness is dark and deep. surprisingly full and tasty. the palate is pretty light but works well with the clear and punchy tastes. it does not deepen the experience but provides a good foundation for what is to be found.

500 ml bottle. Finland.
Clear mahogany colour with small off-white head. Floral hoppy aroma with nut and wood. Flavour is floral hops, moderate bitterness, some fruity sweetness and nuts. After quite ordinary British Bitter aroma the flavour is surprisingly interesting. Very smooth yet tasty.
