3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap in the DCA, Dundee, Scotland. Lovely fruity aroma, nicely carbonated, strong thick head, fruity but dry taste... Quite a nice beer, I wasn’t sure if this would be as good as the thicker more heavier williams beers I usually drink but I quite enjoyed it!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Keg at Cloisters. Pale golden yellow and fizzy with a white head. Yeast, slight caramel and a marginal zesty citrus. A pretty ordinary lager.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Keg at Brass Monkey Leith. Strong lager yeast aroma, earthy, little caramel, hay, bit of gooseberry in the background. Taste has a little hay and caramel up front followed by gooseberry then a massive yeast hit to finish it off. Slick and oily going down followed by a dry yeasty finish. My impression of this is that it’s a fairly shite lager with a little bit if something slightly interesting going on as well.

[keg at Red Squirrel, Edinburgh] Sparkling golden pour with a hefty white head from the keg. Steady rising carbonation – looks every inch the lager. Classic WB aroma – yeast and musty malt. Quite like the flavour though – admittedly it’s not huge, but for a draught keg lager it’s pretty good – some malt comes out on the flavour, good bitter, crisp finish - touch of citrus. Decent stuff

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUL 15, 2012 On keg at The Red Squirrel. Pours a blonde colour with a fair white head. Aroma is dominated by yeast with some caramel. Yeasty flavour also with caramel and barley. Lingering sweetness and a foamy mouth-feel. Not bad (5,3,6,3,14). Also had this on keg at Cloisters. Lots more Nelson Sauvin with grapefruit and passion fruit aroma and flavours.
