COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Launched 2009.
Ingredients: Water, Malted barley, Root ginger, Malted wheat, Sugar, Lemon rind, Lemon juice, Yeast.
A traditional style ginger beer, made with a malt base, lashings of fresh ginger root, a touch of organic cane sugar, lemon juice & yeast… that’s it. Our ginger has a distinctly ’beery’ taste without the bitterness of hops. Creating a refreshing, malty spiced brew.

En øl med ingefær og ingen humle? Den måtte smages. Den har en MEGET stærk smag af ingefær, og ingen bitterhed (der er så heller ingen humle i). Ikke min smag over hovedet, måtte faktisk hælde det sidste ud

This is not a beer per se, but a ginger root, malt based drink, called ginger beer, so people judging it from a ’normal’ beer perspective are viewing it from the wrong angle imho. It’s amber coloured with slight brownish notes, has a generous head that does not stay for long. Carbonation amplifies the ginger-black pepper notes. Taste is full of ginger, somewhat sweet but still hot enough to make me wonder whether this could be turned into a hot drink to fight off a cold. It’s not a bad drink, it’s worth trying, it’s not a niche drink, not a beer. Full stop.

ovo mi je prva prava ginger piva. Stvarno ima miris i okus po đumbiru. Ima dosta gorkasti finiš, možda da je piva malo zaokruženija okusima bilo bi i bolje. Previše se ističe ta gorčina od đumbira.

Bottle, 500mL. Home. A pale golden clear beer with a small white head poorly persistant. Aroma of ginger (strong), lemon (intense), pepper, sugar. Heavy sweet ; not warming... really burning. Dragon Smaug is back !! Full body, average texture, soft carbonation, sweet spicy lasting burning finish. Overall, not finished this one ! OK it’s drinkable nevertheless it’s too spicy peppery sugary ; first and last beer of the evening...
