Bottle.Salisbury’s certainly got it right when they put this on their shelves.Clear orange appearance with citrus flavours hitting your mouth as soon as you take your first sip.
Hops area also there and a gentle bitterness soon comes to the front of the mouth feel. Very pleasant and refreshing.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Beautifully fresh tasting pale gold beer, with a fine fruity aroma to match. Flavours of light honey, strawberry, melon and peach, creamy lingering finish, with elderflower creeping in late on. Sweetness becomes more intense with drinking, developing an almost sugary aftertaste. One to have in for the long summer evenings!

Golden, amber colour. Small head but it stays all the way. Summery fragrance, in fact summer/late spring in a glass describes this perfectly. Like a light(ish) pale ale. Fruity and a little floral. Left me wanting more.

bottle- pours golden clear, offwhite grey head big and frothy, lots of lacing. nose is juicy hops, flower, honey, grapefruit rind, but only slight. and some lovely malt character as well. mouthfeel is really sticky. taste is initially quite dry, but then escelates into a fair amount of bitterness. well balanced. definitely one of the better ones ive had from williams bros, it aint no 7 giraffes, but its really good.

15th July 2008. Amber beer. Crisp start leading to a sweetish middle (the meadowsweet?) and then a dry elderflower and citrus hop finish. Unusual, refreshing and very drinkable.

This is a great beer. What a surprise, good times indeed. Why? The flavours don’t stay with you long, there’s not much to smell, it looks good, but it’s the taste. Totally refreshing, and has a certain lovely sweetness to it. The hops are lurking in the background and there’s floral something there, but it’s the sweetness that is spot on. Really nice. Oh yeah, Quadrant 6 was by Dom and Optical, I never knew, makes sense though. Link coming through.
