2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jamestulloch (477) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 13, 2013
Aroma: Cereal, elderflower, corn and straw.
Appearance: Clear golden body with a medium off-white head. Lively carbonation. Light lacing.
Taste: Fruity with a slight nutty flavour. A little metallic and flabby. Low bitterness.
Palate: Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Average carbonation.
Overall: When cold, this a quite a refreshing summertime ale. As it warms, though, it begins to taste quite metallic and sickly.

Slightly sweet aroma balanced by elderflower. On the palate this beer has a zesty quality coming from both the elderflower and hops. A very refreshing summer style ale.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ThirstyBird (418) - Düsseldorf, GERMANY - FEB 16, 2013
Pours a clear medium yellow with a small off-white cap. The smell is a little grainy, floral and fruity. The taste is slightly tart fruit, floral hops with some sweetness in the middle ending dry and slightly bitter. The body is light and the carbonation is active and crisp. Overall a nice golden ale.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 mighty_meadow (102) - Kilwinning, SCOTLAND - FEB 4, 2013
Golden, amber colour. Small head but it stays all the way. Summery fragrance, in fact summer/late spring in a glass describes this perfectly. Like a light(ish) pale ale. Fruity and a little floral. Left me wanting more.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 zimbo (328) - SCOTLAND - JAN 7, 2013
Very attractive almost continental pilsner nose this pours a reasonablt htick velevety head on top of a a light relatively hazy yelliw body. Positive fine beading sustains that nice head leaving rings of delicate lacing with every sip.
Slight carbonic quality but never burpy.
Refreshing quenching taste which is lemony and zesty with a resonably long gentle chewy bitterness at the end. Rewards patience.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 The_Bish (863) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - NOV 24, 2012
This is a great beer. What a surprise, good times indeed. Why? The flavours don’t stay with you long, there’s not much to smell, it looks good, but it’s the taste. Totally refreshing, and has a certain lovely sweetness to it. The hops are lurking in the background and there’s floral something there, but it’s the sweetness that is spot on. Really nice. Oh yeah, Quadrant 6 was by Dom and Optical, I never knew, makes sense though. Link coming through.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 flying_pig (614) - SCOTLAND - NOV 13, 2012
Bottle (500ml):
Light and clear looking golden amber with a thin, bubbly white head that is about half a centimetre tall and has decent retention before turning to a thin lacing.
Hops and floral note are present, along with some lighter malts and a vague smell of berrues coming through. There is quite a sweet aroma with some citrus and possibly some lychee as well. It is quite a light smelling beer though.
Sweet malts and a definite floral note to start as well as some lighter hops and a background fruit taste. There is a moderate, earthy bitterness to th ebeer to round things off with too.
Smooth to taste and with a medium body and a mild citrus tang to it. There is again a light bitter finish to this one.
A nice pale ale that has some good fruity notes and a pleasant, malty base to it. The beer is quite drinkable and goes down very easily. It would make a good session beer.
