3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Tesco
Appearance - Golden orange, clear, frothy 2 finger white head, some lacing.
Aroma - Citrus hops, slight resin, sweet malts.
Taste - Grapefruity citrus hop, light sweet malts, some floral notes, tiny hint of spice. Good, simple, refreshing flavour for the abv.
Palate - Very slightly sticky oily, average carb. Finish leaves a citrus tang with a little sour bitterness.
Overall - Does what it says on the tin - A refreshing, hoppy ale. Itís rather simple but itís an ideal ílawnmower beerí. Well made for a bottled ale at 3.9%

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Sainsburyís. It pours golden yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is white bread, dough, floral and sweet orange. The taste is straw, hay, white bread, dough, lemon pith and light ginger, with a dry finish. Light body and moderate, but harsh carbonation. Ok.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Iíve been looking for something like this for a while, and itís delicious.
Itís light, slightly hoppy, has a wonderful, dry slight pepperness and a slight creaminess to it.
I think itís the closest bottled beer Iíve found to the perfect Peters Well from the Houston Breweries.
An excellent find. Delicious.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at home. Pale orangey yellow colour, medium white head that fades to a thin foam. Aroma is subtle but pleasant - slight caramel biscuit malt with nice grapefruit hops, but I just want more! Palate is crisp and refreshing, with some nice berry notes in amongst the predictable breaded malts and thin citrus. Finish is moderately bitter. Very refreshing, but maybe just a tad too restrained.

A nice simple refreshing golden ale. Slightly fruity, not much to excite the senses, but perfect for a hot day.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Itís an almost clear one, golden in color and with a small, white head. Citrusy hops and crackery malts on the nose, nice but too weak. Some bitterness in the flavor, which is mostly citrus peel-like. Medium body. Bitter, citrusy finish. A beer that drinks easily but I think itís a bit boring to do as a session beer. 110330

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled, 500ml from Tesco in Banbury. Hazed gold with white head. Juicy fruity fresh beer flavours, quite tropical in character, pineapple, fleshy mango notes, sweetish but with a dryish edge. Somewhat like a beer mixed with tropicana, fizzy on the palate too. Quite decent.
