Bottle at home. Pours hazy golden color, white head. Aroma of caramel, fruits, malt. Taste is medium sweet, malty, caramel, bit spicy.

Bottle. Lychee, gooseberry, citrus and elderflower aroma. Fantastic. Lots of residual sweetness against which the bitterness struggles for a few sips before the whole achieves the desired balance. Nonetheless a crisp beer. Very tasty.

ALLOVATE (2816) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - AUG 15, 2015
At just on cool and into a snifter. Hazy, pastel yellow and still. Head off the pour holds; snow-white and daubs the glass well. Strong, dried herb and butter note atop hints of fresh baked bread, honey and almonds. Bready, sweet and a little cloying on the palate - OK it’s over date, but this drinks like it’s a year over date. Light bitterness is overdone by the yeasty notes. Body is light but it sits heavy in the stomach. Not much else. Forgettable. (33cL, BBE 04/15, Luckies Liquor, East Vic. Park)

gegwilson (2737) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2014
Bottle from the deli in Shrewsbury. Has lagery looks with a pale golden body and white head. Sweet at first but with lots of hops flavour kicking in to leave a more bitter finish. It’s fruity with citrus, caramel, pine and some floral notes too. Very nice and drinkable.

Tide (2696) - Espoo, FINLAND - SEP 6, 2013
Bottle at Kaisla. Amber color, whit head. Bitter taste with citrus, hops, vegetables, a bit of caramel and grass. Bitter finish with citrus and caramel. Not my kind of an IPA, but decent.

nihtila (2566) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 25, 2015

Beese (2561) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 21, 2014
Bottle at the Doric Arms, Edinburgh on 16 May. Poured a hazy mid-golden, with a thin layer of white head. Aroma was malt heavy, with tinned fruit and some citrus hops in the mix. Grapefruit flavours and other tropical fruit, with dry cereal. Finish was sweet malt, bread and raisins.

Couleur jaune, pas de mousse. Nez de houblon floral. Gout de houblon leger et agrumes, petite amertume, assez longue en bouche. Presque a la date limite de conso, peux etre pour cela qu’elle est moyenne??

TheCametron (2273) - CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 11, 2012
Keg for the launch at Holyrood 9a. Pours Orange Amber with a nice foamy white head. Aroma is pleasant if a little deadened. Light tropical fruit and a little orangey citrus. Flavour was nice but not a quantum leap from Joker ( as mentioned by Dantheman). When I ordered it, I was asked by the barmaid ’cask or keg? and I instinctively answered ’keg’ because I believe it to be a better conduit for IPA. I fear I made the wrong decision and I wish I’d got one of each by way of comparison.

330ml bottle. Yellowy-orange amber colour, foam white head and aroma is citrus, peach. Taste of malt caramel with earthy pine bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dryish bitter finish. OK.
