Cask at Holyrood 9A launch event. Clear orange yellow, thin white head. Nice soft juicy grapefruit, very "Williams" spicy hop nose. Reminds me of Joker. Touch of bready malts, then nice tropical fruit juice sweetness. Touch of pineapple, light grapefruit bitterness in the finish. Good but not outstanding.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 12/10/2012. Golden with a slight white head. Aroma of tangerines and grapefruit with some sweet malt. Flavour had more citrus fruits, pineapple and a touch of spice. Finish was pleasantly long.

Bottle: Deep golden, clear, small stable white foamy layer, distinctive bitter-sweet grapefruity-malty nose; very soft, medium bodied, moderate bitter-sweet flavour; again, lingering, grapefruity-hoppy finish. Nice stuff...

330ml bottle (Ł2.80, Inn Deep, Glasgow):
A hoppy citrus aroma with some grapefruit and tropical fruits along with a moderately bitter aroma and about average nose strength.
Clear, light golden amber with a thin and patchy lacing on top.
Citrus to start off the taste although this comes across stronger than in the nose. There is some grapefruit and bitterness with the tropical fruits coming through. I could detect some spice as well and some floral hops coming through.
Smooth and light medium bodied beer with a good pine bitterness and plenty of hops with a nice citrus tang. Carbonation levels are medium.

A pleasant and somewhat refreshing taste that proved very easy to drink. The beer went down well and although not one I’d seek out again, it is a beer that I will probably have again at some point in the future.

Bottled 330ml from Sandra. Gold with white, slightly fizzed, head. There is a good fruity aroma on opening, oranges then on the palate there is a clean, citrusy flavour, bitter and lasting. Pretty decent.

dark amber, limey hops, fairly full bodied, medium carbonation, edges dulled on bitterness a bit..maybe an older batch?

Had drank loads of this in the pats, never rated. Pours clear light straw with small foamy head. Good lacing. Malt on the nose, not much on the hops. Medium body, good mouth feel. Loads of maltiness, a bit lagery rather than IPA but I like it. If you like Ceasar Augustus you might like to try this.
