On cask at Cloisters. Pours a dark golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma of yeast, grassy hops, caramel and alcohol. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Nice but I preferred the keg version which seemed hoppier.

Draft. Pours gold with a thin head. Light flowery hoppy aroma with some light sweet malty notes. The flavor has pale and sweet malts and floral hops. Well balanced. Not bad.

Cask at Euston Tap. Clear golden with a small head. Quite malty nose, but develops more spicy notes in the mouth. Some earthy notes. Well-balanced, but not over-exciting. Drinkable.

Cask @ Edward Wylie, JDW. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma is hoppy, floral and a bit yeasty. Flavour is hoppy, hint of dish cloth, yeasty and slightly sour. Sour and dry finish. Good stuff.

Cask @ The Society Room. Mild sweet malty aroma. Golden yellow colour with a good head. Sweet resin & biscuit flavour. Citrus aftertaste. Quite smooth. Better in bottle.

Half pint, cask conditioned at Doctors. Chalk white tophead. Bright, amber coloured body. Malt-fruity to the nose. Rounded flavour of fruity hops supported by hints of earthy malts. Bitter tail. Foamy in the mouth (Edinburgh, 30.11.2010).

Cask at Blackfriars, Glasgow, on 23 April 2010. Gold with a white head. Exquisitely hoppy with deluxe herb notes, a touch of smoke and a bitter grassy finish. Light textured mouthfeel. Loved it!

20092009, on tap at the Bow Bar, Edinburgh. The colour is clear yellow with white head. Aroma is malty with aromatic hops. There is also a flowerhopping in the aftertaste.

Clear medium yellow amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, nutty notes, toffee notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090410]
