Sampled as ’Scottish Joker IPA’ as other folks tried as well. Nice hazy golden coloured body with a honey glow and a touch of orange - all with great white lace on the sides of the glass. Aroma of nice light hops, a touch of malt and some perfume. Light-bodied; Sharp hops right up front with a grassy and floral taste and a light malt taste finishing with some honey. Aftertaste is pretty mild, only a touch of the hops comes through at the end, but very discreetly. Overall, a decent ipa, definitely showing its British nature, but not a horrible beer. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Chevy Chase Wine & Spirits in Washington, DC on 13-May-2010, sampled from home in Washington on 22-May-2010.
