bottle, kindly donated by jaghana. Clear golden, mid-sized white head. Hoppy with resiny flavours, slightly grassy, hints of citrus fruit and very shy hints of boiled vegetables. Good.

Keg @ The Whippet. Light gold color with a medium head. Weird nose - strong green peas, honey, light salt and grass. The taste is very light honey and straw grass. Not exactly a hop-forward beer. Light body. Overly carbonated. Overall, not very good.

Pours a clear golden brown with decent head. Big hoppy aroma to start. Some caramel and floral malts, but not much going on, lightly carbonated, slightly bitter at the end.

On keg at Cloisters. Pours a golden colour with a fair white head. A hoppy aroma of pine, caramel and alcohol. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Nice.

On keg tap at Pig’s Ears in Richmond. dark gold with a thin clingy head, aromas of hops, a little pine and lemon, and some yellow fruity malt. Lightish bodied with a firm but not excessive bitterness that’s well balanced by biscuit and faintly peach malt notes. Very nice, though more a golden ale than an IPA perhaps.

500ml bottle, best before Feb 2011, drank and reviewed in Jan 2011. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard. Pale amber, tangerine orange in colour, good white head on top, which left behind some good lacing. Floral hoppy aroma, some semi-sour citrusy notes as well (pink grapefruit and lemons?). The taste is citrus fruit bitter, with a drying hop aftertaste. No malt content found in the flavour or smell. Almost too well carbonated, slightly fizzy if a large mouthful is taken, less so in smaller sips. Easy to drink and a fine example of a British IPA.

Cask at Churchkey for the Williams Brothers dinner. Pours a cloudy, hazy light straw, small bubbly head. Nose of biscuit, bread, and english grassy hop profile. The flavor brings caramel malt and more buttered toast. Eh.
