Decent bottle and label. Almost clear, oatmeal head, light brownish gold. Smoky, perfumed malt ale aroma. Slightly tangy, medium body, not very sweet. Woody malt finish. Decent. New Leaf Market.

Tallahassee, Fl. - Market Square Liquors - 500 ml bottle. Pours a medium golden with a bubbly snow white head. Fresh hoppy aroma, some floral hints and a bit of pine. Flavor is pleasantly bitter with some light citrus, a bit of spiciness. Crisp clean, mouthfeel. Nice Euro IPA.

50cl bottle. Golden orange colour with loads of bubbles and a very generous head. The nose has that metallic nettle thing going on. The taste has big heady flavours - oranges followed by a malt note and then grapefruit (the fruit rather than the pith in this IPA). The palate has plenty of depth of flavour at the start but still refreshing. Overall, a really interesting brew - interesting but still sessionable.

4 May 2011, bottle. gold, clear, steady bubbles, slight frothy white head. nose has faint floral hops but more caramel maltiness. med body and mildly fizzy. again, some faint grassy hops but now the caramel has turned into a slightly roasted coffee flavour. it is slight but still stronger than the hops. nice enough.

Served in a SAVOR snifter. Consumed at a recent tasting. Pours a light to medium golden copper color with a light white head. Very mild lacing. The nose brings forward quite a bit cat urine along with a bit of dank hops. Pretty gross. Did not make me pleased. Against my better judgment, I sipped this one and found the same characteristics. It was really oddly bitter and dry and killed my desire to drink anything else for a bit. Hops were a really strange combination that ended up really strange. Not a huge fan and this was way off the mark. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 03-28-2011

effervescent transparent gold with a frothy white head. Light wheat and cream, honey, bit of pinesol and cleaning product. Light oxidation in stale paper bitterness, diacetyl, light citrus bitterness through finish. Oily body.

Bottle from Mainbrew - Aroma is a bit vinegary, just like most beers from Great Britain. Tastes better be the third swallow. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it, but I wouldn’t pour it out, either. There really should be two categories for IPA (American and English) just like there is for pale ale. This tastes nothing like the IPAs in the US.
