Bottle [500ml] shared with HogTownHarry, jerc & mabel -- c/o j&m. Labeled ’Joker IPA’. Pours a clear pale gold with an average size diminishing frothy white head. Aroma smells alright, it’s mild grassy hops and pale malt. Watery flavour of light hops and earthy pale malt. Average bodied. Nothing much to see here, it’s just O.K.

This was labeled "Joker IPA", altho it did not taste like an IPA. I thought it might be a lager, but RB says it is a premium bitter. Huh. Light, mellow aroma. The flavor is pretty mainstream, a little astringent with a dash of citrus. It has British hops and some wheat in it. Not bad.

2010-07-18. Crisp dark yellow body, with a small white head. Mild malt aroma, bit of grassy note and not much else. Flavour is quite mild, light pale malts, very light bitterness and muted grainy touches. Average to light palate. Simple, bit dull. Bottle as "Joker IPA" from The Grog Shop, Oxford

500 ml bottle. As Williams Bros Joker IPA straw colored and clear with a nice white head that stays around and laces the glass nicely. low body and hop bitter in the finish. On the nose getting some citrusy, floral hops but not much and even less malt. The taste has some citrus hop flavor and plenty of lingering bitterness in the finish. This beer is good but I think, in the long run, I’m a definitely an American IPA kind of guy

Bottle. Pale golden pour with a thin white head. The nose is a quite light with a nice touch of softly spicy hops. Soft pale malt character. A little bit of light orange peel and a bit of earthy/herbal character. It’s light and a bit spicy. I like it more as it starts to war up – becoming more biscuity. Assertive bitterness. Pretty nice, interesting IPA.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2013 Bottles from The Scottish Real Ale Shop & Beers of Europe. Resin & tropical fruit aroma. Hazy golden amber colour, good head. Flavour of biscuit, grain, tropical and citrus fruits, dry aftertaste, a bit watery. Not as good as I remember it from a few years ago.

Clear golden and well carbonated. A thick off white head has good retention. Taste is just too thin. There is some tart citrus hops that provide some bitterness. A bit of grass and lemon.

(500ml bottle best by Jul 2011 thanks to bu11zeye) clear pale yellow, film of white bubbles. Nose of light plastic, honey and corn. Taste of grapefruit, citrus oil, bitter with a thin finish that’s creamy. Earthy linger on the palate.

Tea, dandelion, and honey aroma. Clear golden, thin lacing head. Hay and dandelion flavor, not as sweet as the aroma. Approaches citrus in the finish, but remains somewhat floral. More character than most ESBs, EPA if not IPA.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of hops, caramel, and grass. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and citrusy hops as well as lighter notes of caramel. Very easily drinkable.
