3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
50cl bottle. Golden orange colour with loads of bubbles and a very generous head. The nose has that metallic nettle thing going on. The taste has big heady flavours - oranges followed by a malt note and then grapefruit (the fruit rather than the pith in this IPA). The palate has plenty of depth of flavour at the start but still refreshing. Overall, a really interesting brew - interesting but still sessionable.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Served in a SAVOR snifter. Consumed at a recent tasting.
Pours a light to medium golden copper color with a light white head. Very mild lacing. The nose brings forward quite a bit cat urine along with a bit of dank hops. Pretty gross. Did not make me pleased. Against my better judgment, I sipped this one and found the same characteristics. It was really oddly bitter and dry and killed my desire to drink anything else for a bit. Hops were a really strange combination that ended up really strange. Not a huge fan and this was way off the mark.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Mainbrew - Aroma is a bit vinegary, just like most beers from Great Britain. Tastes better be the third swallow. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it, but I wouldn’t pour it out, either. There really should be two categories for IPA (American and English) just like there is for pale ale. This tastes nothing like the IPAs in the US.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Hazy amber with a moderate, foamy white head. Spicy and herbal hops in the nose along with soft grains and sweet malt. More herbal hops and some floral hops on the palate along with spicy notes, soft citrus, grains, tea and sweet malt. Zesty, moderate carbonation exudes from this medium bodied ale. Finishes with more spicy and herbal hops, tea leaves, zesty citrus, sweet malt and floral notes.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma has a sweet pale malty nose with some floral and piny hops. The flavor opens with some soft pale malty sweetness with some fresh floral and grassy hop notes. The finish is dry and bittersweet. I don’t know that I would classify this as an IPA.
