(Bottled) A basic simplicity to these low boozed up stouts make them easy to sink -if nothing exciting , mostly . The palate is creamy and dry roasted =with resulting dark fruit notes . Looks like cola -tastes like coffee , so a ’textbook’ Stout consquently .!!!

500ml bottle, Tesco. Great spicy flavour mixes with a creamy texture. Quite a bite, rich roastiness and a full-flavoured good mouthfeel. Reasonably long finish, nice ruby-black appearance.

Pleasant enough stout, good roast malt nosea nd flavours, but really lacks body. Quite a refreshing style, but I was expecting something with a bit more to it. It has light spicy notes, nice, but........!

Bottle. Pours black with off white head. Roast malt aroma with orange tang. Lots of roast malt up front, chocolate, coffee, followed by orange tang. Doesn’t really work for me
