500ml bottle. Big bubbly light tan head, goes down quickly, decent lacing. Very dark brown body. Nose of dark chocolate, berries, hint of cinnamon. Flavour is roast coffee, dark fruit, cream. A little hoppy bitterness on the finish. Creamy full mouthfeel, light carbonation. A very easy drinking stout and one of Williams Brothers finest efforts.

Bottle 500 ml from La Cave du Haut Jura - St Laurent-en-Grandvaux (F). Almost black with a tan head, some laces. Aromas of cocoa, roasted malt, café, notes of licorice. The taste is roasted, dark fruits, licorice, bitter chocolate, coffee, cream and orange. Bitterness of roasted and hop-zest, it leaves an orange aftertaste. Light and smooth. Pleasant.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Roast, licorice and a hint of salt in the aroma. Medium bodied. Creamy mouthfeel. Sweetish, slightly roasty caramelly flavor with a hint of licorice. Well done.

Davvero una buona cosa sta marcia dei pinguini. Cremosa ed egregiamente cioccolatosa all’aroma e al gusto. Note di caffé, malto tostato e una speziatura leggera. Buonerrima.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Classy stout with some malt, coffee, dark chocolate and leaves. A really classy piwo which offers a deep body and high drinkability.

Pours out of the bottle in a deep black colour with steady low head and medium body. Aroma of malt and torf. Taste of intense malt, leaves, woods, bread, spices and coriander. Very light bitter hoppy finish. Nice beer and I enjoyed it a lot.

50 cl bottle.
Pours dark red, almost black color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma of faint chocolate, ash, some cocoa, dark malts and subtle hops and fruits. Flavor of roasted malts, dry dark chocolate, cocoa and malts, mild wooden notes also, spices on the finish. Dry bitter malty palate, somewhat salty creamy finish. Sadly a bit too watery, otherwise decent.

Bottle bb Mar 2015. Pours a ark brown/black with a tan head which dissipates quickly. Looks good. Aroma is milk chocolate, vanilla, bread. Medium body, medium carbonation - quite a bit of fizz. Milk chic again, with bitter coffee, a touch of dark fruits, a hint of citrus, a little coca-cola and a bitter, slightly metallic, finish. Overall, not bad.
