Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Midnight Sun is a black porter style beer, created from a blend of malted barley, oats, roasted barley and chocolate malt, balanced with a generous handful of hops and a wee bit of fresh root ginger. We really like it and hope you do too!

Bottle at 3-små rum: Black colour, with a nice creamy head. Aroma of caramel , raisins and dark choclate. Flavor is almost the same, lots of raisins, mild mouth feeling. thin to medium finish.

Bottle. Very dark brown with a beige foam. Aromas are earthy rich roast malts with peat. Malty with chocolate and spices. Flavours are chocolate and coffee malts with winter fruit. Earthy and dry towards the finish. Warming alcohol. Good.

Excellent sour coffee aroma. Sour, mellow, bitter cooking chocolate, spicy, tangy flavours. Hint of vanilla and smoke. A superb beer.

Smells malty. The colour of Guiness with a decent off white head. Tastes nutty and malty. Fairly smooth. Nice but lacks something.

Bottle with the TESCO label. Black with very little carbonation. Poured with a small head and had a lovely warming taste. Some spices and ginger were present plus traces of chocolate. Some roasted flavours also appear. A fine winter ale.

(Bottle 50 cl) Warm orangey brown with a reddish hue and a small, beige head. Sweetish hard roasted malt in the nose. Medium body, sweetish hard roasted or even lightly burned malt with a whiff of coffee and distinct ginger notes. Sweetish malt bitter finish. Not bad as such, but I’m not really sure that I like ginger in my Porter. 121008
