COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Profanity Stout is the first in the Williams Bros ’chapeau’ series, in which we celebrate the skills of amateur brewers whose beers we think are exceptoinal and should be made available to a wider audience. With Profanity Stout we doff our caps to Peter and Craig, the ’Balls to the Wall’ brewing duo, who developed this recipe as students on the brewing course at Edinburgh’s Heriot Watt University. The beer is a blend of rich coffee and intensely fruity hop aromas on a base of full velvety malty mouthfeel.

33cl bottle. Pours pitch black with a huge long lasting beige head. Light roasted and hoppy aroma. Flavor is light to moderate bitter and sweet with notes of roasted malt, dark fruits and hops. Quite light for a Imperial Stout but you can expect that considering it has only 7%.

In a run of awful beer this was a pleasant surprise and would drink again. Almost black body, thin tan head. Nice aroma, chocolate, milky coffee, hops. Flavour chocolate, coffee, vanilla, smoke, nice fruit on the finish.

A pitch black beer with a tan fading head. Noses of bitter chocolate, coffee powder and notes of caramel malts with roast aromas. Velvety texture with a hint of a carbonation. Surprising mild linear bodied with bitter roast notes hints of sweetness slick texture. The finish is lightly bitter and plesantly lasting.
