COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Profanity Stout is the first in the Williams Bros ’chapeau’ series, in which we celebrate the skills of amateur brewers whose beers we think are exceptoinal and should be made available to a wider audience. With Profanity Stout we doff our caps to Peter and Craig, the ’Balls to the Wall’ brewing duo, who developed this recipe as students on the brewing course at Edinburgh’s Heriot Watt University. The beer is a blend of rich coffee and intensely fruity hop aromas on a base of full velvety malty mouthfeel.

Bottle. Black with a rapidly fading beige head. Aroma of coffee, plums, sharpish red berries. Medium bodied, somewhat astringent. Very fruity with coffee and berries, floral and bitter herbal (menthol, bitters) notes. Unusual, interesting, good.

A pitch black beer with a tan fading head. Noses of bitter chocolate, coffee powder and notes of caramel malts with roast aromas. Velvety texture with a hint of a carbonation. Surprising mild linear bodied with bitter roast notes hints of sweetness slick texture. The finish is lightly bitter and plesantly lasting.

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with small tan head. Aroma of dried fruit, red berries, chocolate, licorice, sweet booze and bread. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of red berries, dried fruit, raw sugar and light chocolate. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Quite OK, but very British in style.

Bottle - Very Dark Brown/Black in colour; Ruby against the light. Imperial Stout with nice citrusy hops. Very Malty; roasty/burnt malts, lots of coffee, dark chocolate, hint of liquorice. Fruity; grapefruit citrus, dark fruits. Hoppy; grassy hops. Bittersweet roasty/burnt malty fruity throughout with balancing citrusy hops. Very good Impy Stout!

In your face ! Noire au petit collet. Aromes fort de café, moka. Superbe présence en bouche avec ses notes torréfiés. Quelques notes citronnées.
