COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Profanity Stout is the first in the Williams Bros ’chapeau’ series, in which we celebrate the skills of amateur brewers whose beers we think are exceptoinal and should be made available to a wider audience. With Profanity Stout we doff our caps to Peter and Craig, the ’Balls to the Wall’ brewing duo, who developed this recipe as students on the brewing course at Edinburgh’s Heriot Watt University. The beer is a blend of rich coffee and intensely fruity hop aromas on a base of full velvety malty mouthfeel.

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized, fairly quickly diminishing beige to light brown head. Aroma of malts, some hops, slightly some fruits. Taste malts, lightly bitter, lightly hops and some dark fruits. A bit thin texture, ok body, decent carbonation.

I actually don’ get much of a roasted flavour or nose. The aroma has the alcohol very predominant, and flavour is chocolate, a strong vanilla vein and a touch of coffee. Medium bodied, it does come across as a strong porter. Very nice.

Bottle at Pitchers in Eskilstuna. Chocolate, coffee and dark malts on the nose. Similar taste with allot of roasted flavours. Nice.

Bottle with expiry in September 2015. Blak colour, white frothy head with fair lacing, lasts quite long. Nose: dark chocolate, wine, resin, floral, for a moment even gooseberry. Mouth: intensive floral, then resin, dark chocolate; no ash. Medium bitterness. Medium body - the beer feels quite light for an imperial stout. Good one.

330ml bottle, pours black with a small head. Chocolate and coffee malt, vanilla, nice thick creamy texture, very much like a milk stout. Short bitter finish. Carbonation soft to flat.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. In short this was a super creamy and milk chocolate driven stout. Almost soy like in its sweetness. Solid

Bottle. Aroma of citrus from american hops, chocolate, dark malts. Nice one finger foam and good lacing. Full body with sweetness, chocolate and dried fruits notes. Medium bitterness and low carbonation.

Zapach z butelki: Intensywna paloność, żywica, lukrecja. Piana: Brązowa, uboga, szybko redukuje się do obręczy. Kolor: Czarne z mahoniowymi refleksami. Zapach: Pralinowy, palony, czekolada, żywica, w tle orzechy. Smak: Bardzo intensywna paloność, nuty popiołowe, kawowe, do tego cytrusy - limonka, mandarynka. Tekstura: Gęste i oleiste. Nie pozostawia osadu w jamie ustnej. Nasycenie Niskie. Goryczka: Wysoka.

BOTTLE 33 CL from dcmchew. Thanks! Look: almost opaque black, beige frothy head. Aroma: hops, tropical fruit, dried fruit, some vanilla and licorice, very light roast for a stout. Taste: citrus tropical fruit hops on a moderately roasty and fruity black malt foundation, solid bitter finish. Quite a hop-accented stout.
