dunkpigen (328), Kolding, Denmark Jul 14, 2008 Bottle at Århus Ølfestival 2008. Pours clear orange with a small head. Aroma and flavour are both sweet and fruity - a bit boring though. wyzzywyz22 (754), Wirral, Merseyside, England Jul 7, 2008 Bottle, Barleycorns, Nantwich. Poured a pinkish colour with not much of a head. A bit on the thin side, and was expecting a much stronger berry aroma and flavour.
Verges on the insipid and was disappointed by this..
MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark Jul 7, 2008 Bottle at ÅBF08. Fresh hop aroma, hint of grass. Blackcurrant flavour. Clear amber colour. Refreshing berry flavour. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Jul 6, 2008 Bottle 50cl. [Williams Brothers Tayberry Beer]. Clear light to medium red color with a average, forthy, fair lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white light pink grey head. Aroma is light to moderate raspberry and blackberry. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate acidic with a average duration. Body is medim to light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (170508) hughie (3016), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Jun 22, 2008 Bright amber with a clingy white head. Sweet raspberry aroma. Taste begins promisingly with a fruity sourness and subsequent gentle rather seedy bitterness, with traces of raspberry in the background. Can’t quite say why, but by the end of the bottle some of the initial charm was gone. gnoff (3560), Göteborg, Sweden Jun 4, 2008 (50 cl bottle at Haket, Göteborg) On June 4, 2008 Slight shady copper color, white head. Sweet, lactic, raspberry scent, also sugary. Malty, acidic, sweet, sugary, raspberry taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. ChristianScheffel (4431), Odense, Denmark May 25, 2008 Dark golden beer with a small white head. Strong berry aroma, I’m thinking of blackberries. Dry berry flavour. Very refreshing beer. yespr (11645), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 24, 2008 Århus2008. 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Sweet and light fruity aroma, seems to a housecharacter for the Williams brothers. Flavour is sweet and distinct berry fruity. Shows a light acidic touch into the finish. Shows a mild bitterness lurking through the sweet berry flavours too. Quite nice and wellcomposed. These beers seem perfectly suited as summer thirst-quencers.
