2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
On bottle at the Art Bar, Dundee, Scotland... was a must try as the berries are from the area and I love this brewery. Found it to be quite a near pale, light and watery beer however the berries were good. It isn’t quite to my palate and is a bit too light for my liking however it wasn’t a bad beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle. Pours an opalescent pinkish amber colour and a pale head. Strong aroma of raspberry which continues into the flavour yet not that sweet so pleasant and refreshing hop finish.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pink in colour with thick pectin haze, very little head. Fairly thick and slightly sticky in texture. In aroma and taste the overriding flavour is fruit. Rather sweet, very fruity, minimal bitterness. As usual for Williams Brothers, this is something a little different and while not my favourite of their offerings this is interesting and well worth trying.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Orange colour, minimal head. Sweet fruit flavor, peach mainly. A bit too sweet to my taste, but not bad at all.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle 50cl, a cloudy pink-red beer with small reddish head. Nose is very intense on berries. Aroma is dry, low malty, with fruit presence and astringency, low body, floral finish with strawberries notes. Low acidity, watery, I think a good one for the summer.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Jacobs på Holtet, Oslo. Hazy orange colour with a white head. Fruity, raisin and light citric aroma. Tayberry locks like raspberries. But i feel i tastes more like raisin and plum. Anyway a nice and fresh ale!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
I’m always excited about new berries. Bottle by Dec 2012. Berries dominate the nose, they’re lightly sweet but with a nice smacking tartness, and they don’t squash the dank hop contribution. Fruitiness is a bit dusty with a raspberry puree/powder feel. Body is orange with a faint reddish/pinkish edge, supports a rocky beige head. Taste is much more malt-forward with a crackery main, but the berries sweep in from the flank after an ounce or two. A dry beer, with a touch of scratchiness in the mf, but yes, nice and dry with an herbal/spruce feel. Lightly tart and the body is full. I feel better for having tried this.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Smell of citrus and malt. Beige colour with cream coloured head. Visually not so nice, looks like mud. Aroma of berries, malt, a hint of wood and leaves. Sharp carbonation but diminishes quickly. Medium sour, lightly bitter.
Suits this cold October evening, actually...

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours Pink to Orange. Raspberry nose. I have no clue what a Tayberry is. Familiar Williams Bros malt profile (not a bad thing ) and the fruit makes it’s appearance on the finish. Tangy. Quite good but I don’t see me having another any time soon.
