0.5 l bottle from K-Supermarket Länsiväylä, Jyväskylä. Copper color. Sweet and perfumed raspberry and elderberry with some honeyish malt in the background. This is not just a sweet fruit juice, there is some depth, but still this is not my kind of beer.

50cl bottle, CM Vantaa. Poured peach color with a small white head. (nowhere near pink as it says on the bottle). Aroma is blackberries, flavor is raspberries and gooseberry. Finish is bit sour, strong gooseberry taste. Not really to my taste.

Bottle: Huge creamy and off-white head. Completly opaque, pink to peach color. Aroma is very fruity with intensive notes of raspberries and other berries. FGlavor is fruity, intensive notes of berries (raspberries, black currants and blackberries) and some dryness in the end with notes of light bitter fruit peels. Very light bitter finish. Very interesting, very fruity beer. Nice notes of berries but a hint to light bodied.

Bottle, at Cardinal. A clear, golden beer topped by a decent, white head. Flowery, berryish nose. There’s some resemblence to lingonberry, only it feels sweeter. The flavor is much the same, slightly sour with berries and flowers. Sour, fruity finish. Medium body. A refreshing beer, even though the fruityness is a bit strange. 091106

[500ml bottle from the brewer’s own stand, Good Food Show, Birmingham NEC] Pours peachy-gold with a large off-white head and moderate fizz. Aroma of berries and malt. At first it tastes light, fruity, refreshing and summery, before a whiff of woodiness warns you of upcoming sourness and dryness in the finish. It’s certainly interesting, but by the end of the bottle my heart wasn’t in it any more and I was quite glad to finish. Difficult one to rate.

500 ml bottle sampled@RBNAG 2009, Cardinal. Dark golden/amber body with a dense off-white head. Refreshing aroma of sour berry, fruit and cowberry jam. Flavor is refreshing fruity, light malty, a bit acid and no artificial fruit, that’s positive. Medium to light body, nice and easy drinkable. Not bad as a low alcohol and no Bret fruit beer.
