500ml bottle from Booths. So blackberry and raspberry? Burnt orange colour. Lasting thick white head. Fruity soapy aroma, soft in mouth. More berry, pippy fruit on end, but it is soapy without doubt. It’s not exactly subtle. Lots of fruit over an undistinguished beer.

Dark honey golden yellow color (some pink there), not much head. Butterscotch in the nose with unclean grainy, berry-like aroma. Harsh rasberry flavor. Quite simple, like some Belgain low alco rasberry fruit beers. Nothing really special.

Thank you Jan (Drillings in Nibe) for this nice present! Dark, copper-red color and a slightly pink head. Both the aroma and the flavour has notes of raspberry and blackberry, and it has a nice acidity from the berries and a light sweetness. 1931

A Sim rate (bottled from Thirst for Beer, Pwllheli): Strong, sweet, syrupy aroma. Very raspberry, slightly limey. Slightly bitter flavour... bit of a sweet and sour. Nice. Syrupy hit in the finish. Not as sweet as a Belgian fruit beer. Quite a nice drinkable beer. Unusual. Great rose colour with a pure white head.

Bottle @ Aarhus 2008.
Pours clear, golden red-orange with a frothy rim of cream. Aroma has good hops, light pine, some grass and a sharpish berry note. Okay mouthfeel. Flavour has some washing powder character, fruity oranges. Some tartness and very dry. Okay balance, just a bit weird.

A while since i had this but i’v had it a few times and always thought my notes were just a mess. I think this is the same as tayberry ale they do? Aroma gives some rasberry, with caramel malts. Taste is grassy a little nutty and rasberry. Juicey and easily sessionable.

from crackedkettle.com - clear red-orange colour with a little foam; deep and charming aroma of raspberries; moderate malt body, juicy, some sourness brings a good balance; quite dry and long sourish aftertaste of berries - original and good

Bottle. Not bad i thought. Quite well balanced, with some lightly sour/bitter fruit, which tends to have more raspberry character than blackberry. Some light nuttyness from the malt. Not huge on body and flavour, but it is very refreshing and quite pleasant to drink.
