50 cl bottle at home, bought at Vaaland, Bryne. Light amber clear color, with a hint of reddish, moderate and disappering white head. Aroma is berries and grainy malt. Flavor is berries and malt, nice sweetness, fine bitterness; I guess it comes both from the berries and hops.

Pink/brown in colour with a qickly disappearing head. Smell: fruitiness Taste: wild strawberry soda (a soft drink in Sweden), grapefruit, sweet but a bit sour! It’s nice with fruity beers, this one didn’t really carry out the tayberry flavor. I guess that more chilled and in the summer is the best combination. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 01-05-2009

500ml bottle from Booths. So blackberry and raspberry? Burnt orange colour. Lasting thick white head. Fruity soapy aroma, soft in mouth. More berry, pippy fruit on end, but it is soapy without doubt. It’s not exactly subtle. Lots of fruit over an undistinguished beer.

Bottle (50 cl) at Haket, Göteborg, Sweden. Shaddy mahogny, small head. Earthy malt aroma with some spicy hops and dark berries, especially raspberries. Dry with moderate bitterness. Ok but a bit cloying after a while.

Bright amber with a clingy white head. Sweet raspberry aroma. Taste begins promisingly with a fruity sourness and subsequent gentle rather seedy bitterness, with traces of raspberry in the background. Can’t quite say why, but by the end of the bottle some of the initial charm was gone.

Bottle @ Aarhus 2008.
Pours clear, golden red-orange with a frothy rim of cream. Aroma has good hops, light pine, some grass and a sharpish berry note. Okay mouthfeel. Flavour has some washing powder character, fruity oranges. Some tartness and very dry. Okay balance, just a bit weird.

[500ml bottle from the brewer’s own stand, Good Food Show, Birmingham NEC] Pours peachy-gold with a large off-white head and moderate fizz. Aroma of berries and malt. At first it tastes light, fruity, refreshing and summery, before a whiff of woodiness warns you of upcoming sourness and dryness in the finish. It’s certainly interesting, but by the end of the bottle my heart wasn’t in it any more and I was quite glad to finish. Difficult one to rate.
