3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 TBone (9999) - Pori, FINLAND - APR 29, 2011
Bottled 500ml (BZ, BB 08/2011)
Ok, this one goes to Prince William. Nice dark amber-copper color, steady creamy beige head, lots of lace. Aroma has licorice, rye bread and caramel. Good body for this ABV. Flavor is bready, caramelly and toffeish - lots of crystal malts as bottle indicates. Finishing to light hoppyness. First time I’ve had a beer with Bobek (Styrian Goldings variation probably) hops I think. Anyhow it doesn’t give so much citrus to this brew even with Cascade. But quite likeable 4% brew.
