2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask handpull at The Bell, Lower Heyford, Oxon. Gold, slight haze, diacetyl butter on the aroma. Some hop on the end, but couldn’t get past the diacetyl ruining the other parts of this beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask conditioned handpump Far From The Madding Crowd Oxford. I had this the day after Fin and my experience was vastly different. This was golden with a small head of off-white bubbles. Spoilt by diacetyly and a nasty honey sweetness. No hop signs like I would expect from Williams Bros, just a pretty sickly sweetness

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at FFTMC, Oxford 16-10-09 Didn’t record the abv and cannot find anything out about this beer, but I think it was 4.2%. Pours gold with a white head, a little dusty tasting, bit of old furniture, woody. Its soft in the mouth with the maltiness showing and some vanilla and cream at the end, strange deScription but it was rather nice. A7 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.6
