3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(50 cl bottle) pours a clear golden colour with a quickly disappearing head. Aroma of sweet fruits (almost like canned fruits with syrup), notes of caramel and honey, grain, walnuts, elderflower without the earthy character. Lemon zest in the finish. Taste is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Soft carbonation. Good! Interesting blend of aromas, sessionable.

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle 0.5. premium bitter ale - comprising a mixture of 7 malt (barley and wheat), elderberry, lemon peel. Color - a little dark (caramel malt flavor and feel). Floral aroma, fragrant hops (similar to the "Pearl"). Taste - the rich - and the malt and hops are well audible, hop a lot, like IPA, astringent aftertaste.

4.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Don’t usually like beers with elderflower, so wasn’t expecting to like this. But the hops dominate, leaving something like a cross between a traditional strong IPA and a refreshing summer ale. And it works. Delicious, unusual and versatile. Session? Tick. Just one bottle to unwind after work? Tick. Accompanying food? Tick. An absolute humdinger.

Che buon bere, a me è garbata molto, delicata luppolata magnificamente, e va via come nulla.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Decent golden syrupy slightly carbonated with a wee bubbly white head. Firm malt nose, super zesty. Quenchable carbonated thick sugary bitterness. Odd mash up didn’t do it for me, especially towards the dregs. Tingle of floral lemon dry finish.

Bottle at queens hall, Edinburgh. Pours orange yellow with a good white head. Lots of pine and citrus aromas. Good bittersweet taste, and finishes well. Solid British IPA.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml bottle. A light golden colour, with plenty of fizz. Lemon nose. Bitter, lemon aftertaste with metallic overtones. Refreshing and easilly drinkable, but instantly forgettable. Perfect accompaniment to nuts or crisps.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a pale golden yellow color with a sustaining white head. Smell is spice, citrus. Taste is citrus, herbs, some malt sweetness ending dry and crisp. Body is light yet a touch oily and with average carbonation. Pretty nice beer, overall.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
"extraordinary ale" as stated on the label is a bit exaggerated. however, this ale is far better than the fraoch heather ale. well, for my taste. nice herbal and citrus aromas define this ale. but is tastes like all Williams Bros. ale of this type. the "Birds and Bees" ale is similar to this one. anyway, this ale is a nice experience.
