2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle - Pours pale straw with spritzy head. Some flowery aroma, but cardboard coming over the top. There is a hint of pale ale flavour up front but this is replaced by something metallic and the finish reminds me of a warm can of harp lager down the park sometime in the late 80’s.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cloudy straw-yellow colour with a okey white head. Pleasant aroma of citrus and some eartyness. Flavour is a bir disappointing though, faint honeymelon, hay and some hints of wood. Low bitter finish A bit watery, but quite refreshing mouthfeel. Overall, it’s an okey beer.

Some citrus flavours coming through followed by some malt. Not great as far add paddle ales go.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a copper color with a decent head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of mild citrus, somemalt sweetness and fresh grain. Taste is mild with some citrus and malt sweetness. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly light body, smooth and refreshing. Nice beer for a hot summer day.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a light straw colour with a diminishing white head. Aroma shows floral hops with some bready notes. Taste is fruity with some malt coming through at the back end. Body is rather thin, more like a lager than a pale ale. Not the greatest Aussie pale ale, but it does the job on a hot day.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pour is sullen but it settles bright gold with fine, sparse bubbles and a tight, white pad atop. Nose is dominated by damp cardboard and sawdust with just a touch of spice and dried mown grass. Nut husks, pine, sawdust, phenols late with a general base of powdery, cracked grains pretty much summed it up for flavour. Light bodied, uncumbersome with sprightly effervescence. Extremely dry to the point of drawing out the reserves of my saliva glands. Unsure of the bottling date of this one but it seems to have lagered itself out of residual sugars. Too, too dry! 1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
A-- Pours a clear yellow straw color. Lots of visible carbonation bubbles. Very short lived white film. No head at all with this. On swirling got at best a half a finger of bright white head that quickly recedes. No lacing.
S-- Get some lemon but a lot of stewed vegetables and a metallic smell? Smells like an adjunct to me.
T-- Tastes like a better version of VB or carlton. Some crisp lemon, bread, cabbage and some metal.
M-- Crisp and clean but finishes a bit gritty and earthy. Prickly on the tongue. Lots of carbonation and light bodied.
O-- Better version of an adjunct to me. Nothing to get too excited about. Much better Pale Ales made in Australia but if you want an organic beer I guess this fits the bill.
