Thanks Scott! Black with zero head. Oaky. Coffee/bourbon blend is refined and balanced. Not a bomb of either flavor; just really damn good. I need more.

Bottle from trade with Bim. Color is black with medium beige head. Aroma is mix of coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, and bourbon. Taste follows suite with strong chocolate, coffee, vanilla, bourbon, and oak. I find it to be very well balanced, and very enjoyable. Everything mends together well which makes drinking it much to easy.

Trade with CUE45 - thanks for this amazing brew. Black pour with a creamy milk chocolate colored head. Aroma has a bit of bourbon, although less than most and a huge amount of coffee. Taste is largely coffee a nd a lot of sweeteness, a touch of bourbon and a kiss of chocolate. This balances the coffee abd bourbon better than most. Nice thick and creamy mouthfeel with a touch more carbonation than most bba stouts. This is truly a fantastic beer. Better than KBS at their own game.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours viscously to a small rust-brown head, fast gone over black-brown beer. Pure black, if sweetened, coffee. Faint tobacco in the finish. Vanilla from the Bourbon, but the alcohol is not obvious in the nose. Coffee, moccha with mixed (black/milk)chocolate. Vanilla, Bourbon, spirit, crème Anglaise, sweet. Rich, voluptuous MF, alcoholwarming. Rather sweet, especially in the aftertaste. There’s better in this category, certainly regarding the balance. Thanks to the donator!

Bottle from trade with nimbleprop, many thanks. Almost black colored beer with medium beige head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, bourbon. Dark chocolate, sweet coffee, vanilla, bourbon, oak. Rich coffee bitternes in long sweet finish. Alcohol is dangerously hidden. Little bit more on sweet side, but still very enjoyable beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours black with a lacy, tan head. Aroma of coffee, a little bit bourbon and oak, a lot of chocolate and some milk, a little roasted malts, and light bitterness. Flavor the same, with a little too much milk and chocolate and not enough coffee/roasted malts. Average to smooth texture. A decent barrel-aged stout. Not to sound biased or anything, but it’d probably taste better if it were aged in barrels from the true state where bourbon is made... Real whiskey comes from KY.

Superb. In every way. This is smooth and silky and finishes just as nice as it begins. Very much a favorite.
