Bottle @ Stephen’s house. Pours a deep brown, cloudy appearance with a thin brown head. Rich chocolate, delicious well roasted coffee, vanilla, sweet bourbon aroma. A touch fruity, rich dark chocolate, sweet coffee, vanilla, mild toffee, easy drinking bourbon flavor.

Bottle (22 oz). From pandableh, thanks Dan! Black with a small beige head and little lacing. Aroma is complex but not overpowering with coffee, bourbon, roasted malt, caramel, some sweetness, vanilla and chocolate. Taste is slightly sweet with vanilla, coffee, bourbon, caramel, chocolate. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly silky finish. Very good balance and nice drinkability for the style. Complex without being 20% abv. Well done.

22oz bottle pours a murky, inky black with one ring of tan head. Nose has a lot of milk chocolate, a lot of molasses, sweetened coffee, brown sugar, caramel, a little wood, raisin. Flavor has sweetened coffee, vanilla, toasted coconut, toasted marshmallow, a little booze, almost a little whiskey and cola. Full, sticky finish.

Little thin, definitely lacking in the bourbon department. Great prune finish, nice coffee flavor. Surprising long lasting on the pallet.

Bomber shared by ontbeermaker. Black with a tan head. Maple, vanilla and coffee aroma. The flavour is similar. The body is a little thin for an impy stout. Good but not my fav. Fun to try.

Very good beer, although I would have preferred it a bit more bourbon forward. Tasted alongside coffee BCS and a KBS, so that may have affected my score.

Bottle from trade with Ken. Thanks! Pours black with a half finger creamy mocha head. Aroma of bourbon, earthy coffee, chocolate, oak...a bit heavy on the sharp bourbon smell. Flavor is roast up front, a little sweet lactose, with a straight bourbon finish. Not much coffee to taste. There isn't much else going on here. Velvety smooth with medium carbonation, and medium bodied. Overall I am psyched I got to try this, but these lighter stouts and porters just can't stand up to the bourbon. I can't get into this one. Meh.
