2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Not a good pale ale by any means, sweet and chunky and apple ciderish with a grainy, modestly bitter finish. The beer’s more of an English pale than anything, and somehow the alcohol is noticeable at 5.3%. Plus this brewery has some of the absolute worst packaging on the shelves.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from State Line Liquors in Elkton, MD. Slightly hazy light amber pour supporting a medium light khaki head. Earthy aroma with a bit of hay and toasted malt. Touch of lemon up front backed up with a neat malty body and restrained but still noticable hop bitterness. Crisp finish. Not a bad brew. Pretty well-balanced but not a stellar Pale by any standards.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle…Hazy golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. The fruity, earthy aroma is of lime peel and musky hops flanked by some bready malts. Light to medium-bodied and astringent with soft carbonation. The flavor delivers rindy, tannic bitterness with no residual sweetness. Finishes raspy, moderately bitter and bone-dry. A little over-attenuated for my taste. Bottle courtesy of darkguardian!

Pours this sort of muddy brown with flecks of yeast floating about and a really thin head. A trace of pine on the nose. A slight hint of caramel on the tongue. Finishes clean.
