COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A highly hopped contemporary India Pale Ale. Brewed with copious amounts of Cascade and Amarillo hops, this IPA is balanced nicely with a strong malt body. A great beer for any occasion. Brewed originally as the beer ration for British troops in India, it was preserved with extra hops and higher alcohol for the long sea voyage. India Pale Ale, IPA as it is usually referred to, has become America’s second most popular microbrewery style. If you enjoy a rich, aggressive hop flavor, this is your ale of choice.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured a cloudy dark amber with a little white head that went away quite quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is very hoppy as a good IPA should; I also could find some pine and citrus. Taste is a well balanced combination of hops and sweet caramel mixed with some citrus flavors. Nice dry finish, very nice beer.

Pours a slightly hazy dark gold color. Very faint hop aroma. Starts a bit tart, then heads towards vinegar then quickly turns to an earthy bitterness. Hints of wood in the finish.

12 oz bottle. Thanks Andy Skaggs! Pours a clear light orange with fading white head. Aroma is biscuit, bread and mild hop notes. Flavor is mild, more malt than hops. Slight oxidation, I doubt this was fresh. I’ve had several times, I’ve always thought it was average.
