Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of heather and earthy. Tastes spicy and sweet with some dry maltiness on the finish.

Bottle from trade with Butters. (Batch 088017) Pours gold with a fizzy thin white head that’s gone in seconds. Floral and citrus aroma with a slight honey background. The flavor finds a slight sour floral and apple with a light malt backing. Light to medium body, even carbonation, light sour aftertaste.

Bottle, sampled at RBSG 08. Pours a hazy gold with a white ring. Tart fruit and herbal aroma. Taste is clean and sharp, the heather comes through nicely. Lingering clean crispness. Not bad.

12oz from Once Upon a Vine, Richmond. Slightly cloudy golden pour, with modest carbonation and a minimal, crisp head. The nose is slightly earthy, just a bit sweet. The carbonation gives it a dry, almost cider-like consistency, which is certainly backed up by the faintly tart notes in the taste. A hint of sweet honey and mild grassy/spicy flavors too. Worth a shot, but certainly nothing too impressive.

12 oz bottle from dkachur. Hazy, dirty gold with a small off white head. Sweet malt nose, lightly floral and spicy heather. Mild, sweet flavor, herbal, spicy heather, lightly grainy. Soft medium-light body. Not bad for what it is.
