A red ale with a malty mouthfeel that finishes with a hop kick. Our flagship session beer at 5% ABV.

Bottle... Pours clear and new-penny copper with a small, creamy, off-white head. Decent retention. The faint aroma is of toffee and vanilla. Medium-bodied with modest carbonation. The flavor is both malty and bitter - toffee and citrus rind. Finishes rindy and fairly bitter. Bottle courtesy of darkguardian!

Bottle. Pours dark brown with some amberish tints and a 2 finger off-white head. Aroma is a strange mix of roasted malts, green apple and nuttiness. Taste is also a strange mix. Immediate roasted malt, chocolate and some hints of caramel, but again with the apple note. Can't help but wonder if it's unintentional. Mouthfeel is medium with a solid carb. Very enjoyable albeit a little weird. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Excellent aroma of peaches malt citrus grass oak and toffee. Taste is subdued. Medium-thin body. Bite disappears quickly. Beautiful dark amber color with lace that fills the glass

THOUGHTS: Nice and very flavorful low ABV beer. Nice and malty, but with enough hop bite at the end to make it interesting. Fairly British. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a hazy, light, orangey brown with an average, off-white head that mostly diminished and left fair lacing. The aroma contained moderate toasted and nutty malts, and caramel; hints of chocolate; and light citrus hops. The initial flavor was slightly sweet and lightly bitter; while the finish was moderately sweet and bitter with an average duration. There was caramel, nutty and toasted malts, citrus rind hops, hints of chocolate and slight metallic hops. The medium body was sort of watery with lightly fizzy carbonation and a metallic finsh.

Bottle. Poured a deep amber color with a thin tan head. Nice malt profile upfront and then a nice bitterness on the finish with the hops.

Sweet malt, syrupy, pleasant flavor, with just faint hops. Nice but immemorable.

Pours copper with little to no white head. Aromas of caramel malts and candied sugars. Has a bit of hop bitterness on the taste with a little bit of the malts lingering but also has a funk to it and leaves a metallic taste. Overall not a bad beer but nothing great either.

Bottle. Pours reddish amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, malty, some fruit. Flavor is sweet up front, lots of caramel, cherry, bit of dates (almost doppelbockesque!), then the hops take over. Medium bitter, some grapefruit and grass. Slightly thin mouthfeel. Kind of odd astringent quality.

Deep amber in color with a small ivory head. Aroma is of bread, cardboard, old hops, and caramel. Taste is of cardboard, caramel, woody herbal hops.
