COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"AleWerks White Ale is a refreshing Witbier style ale made with coriander, orange peel, chamomile, and a special yeast strain. It’s cloudy appearance is imparted by the vast amounts of flaked wheat used. Enjoy with good company!" - Geoff Logan, Brewmaster

Light aromas of banana, coriander, and chamomile. Hazy yellow-orange with a lasting, white head. Dry and mildly fruity. Light body, smooth and very drinkable, and finishes with some yeasty, fruity notes.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with almost no head. Aroma is very yeasty with notes of coriander and marshmallow-like sweetness. Taste is immediately earthy and peppery. Huge amounts of wheat and a little citrus. Mouthfeel is surprisingly full with a prickly carb. Much more complex than I expected. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle. Light amber with no head (somewhat surprising). Thin and oddly artificial, some coriander and wheat with stale orange peels, light malt. Moderate+ carbonation, mild body, bit of cardboard, very slightly sweet with a hint of citrus, becomes dry and more wheat and some coriander.

Very typical of the style. Hazy light yellow. Flavor was wheat, citrus (orange), belgian yeast. A good representation of the style, although not my favorite. If I came across this again, I would definitely give it a try.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle dated June 5, 2012 poured into weizen glass. Pours hazy golden with small white head. Pretty good small bubble lacing, light body, thin texture, and coriander aroma. Taste is coriander, chamomile, hint of citrus, and slightly grainy wheat. Hoped for more, not that much taste, and a little watery.

On draft at Huzzah BBQ & Grille in Williamsburg. This was my favorite of the AleWerks tasted. The flavors of coriander, orange peel come through. Well done within the style.

12 oz bottle from the brewery. Pours morning urine gold,, turbid, with a finger of white head. Nose is pale malt, coriander, limey citrus. Tastes spicy, hopcitric, with finishing coriander and limey notes. Good complexity, and a great beer to drink during a mid-June vacation in Williamsburg off the deck of the Great Wolf Lodge.
